At the beginning of November, Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto V and set the gaming community into a frenzy. Outside of a trailer, the company said little about the game.

Grand Theft Auto V on Xbox 360, the next installment in one of the best selling game franchises of all time was officially announced by Rockstar back in October of 2011. This one is to take place away from Liberty city in the city of Los Santos, which is Rockstar North's rendition of Southern California.
Grand Theft Auto V will be bringing what Rockstar is calling the largest game and most ambitious game they have made to date. Much like the previous entries in the franchise GTA V will be bringing back storyteller and mission modes, amazing graphics, and online multiplayer capabilities.
When Grand Theft Auto V will be released on Xbox 360?
Currently the developer has GTA V is slated for an October 2012 release. While fans of the series may hope that GTA 5 will be able to make its October 2012 release on Xbox 360, just in time for the 2012 holiday season, analysts believe that a Spring 2013 publication may be a better guess for Grand Theft Auto V on Xbox 360's actual due date. Rockstar has shown a pattern of success with of first and second quarter releases in the past and may hope to avoid the holiday competition.

GTA 5 Release Date
I was just in Luis safe house and I came across this calendar with circled dates on it. GTA 5 release date would be for the 26th april, 2011 on PS3 and Xbox 360.
